Using an Excel Spreadsheet to Present Data
Microsoft's Excel Spreadsheet software is a great tool to translate our numerical data into more readable and comparable graphs.
1. Open a new blank spreadsheet
2. Create a column for each data set
3. List recorded data in each column
4. Type "=AVERAGE(Lowest Cell Number:Highest Cell Number)" for one column into a cell and then press enter
5. Repeat step 4 for the remaining columns of data sets
6. Highlight the cells with the average scores in, then press "Insert", "Graph" and select a graph for it to generate
